@NailsByNatalie CND, at a local beauty supply when I lived in Chicago

How often do you do your nails? Weekly? I’m wondering how long the OPI Chip Skip, CND Stickey Base Coat & the Seche Vite Top Coat will prolong my manicure? I just haven’t found anything that makes that big of a difference when it comes to chipping. Do you have to touch up your tips in between manis? Thanks for your advice!!

Can you do an updated video of this PLEASE with sugar on top?? =]

I’ve picked up the CND base coat at local beauty supplies but I’m pretty sure Sallys carries it too. I’ve heard of out the door, I should really give it a shot! Seche vite is a must have to a lot of people, it’s very thick like a sheet of glass.

    Very helpful. Thank you

  7. Nora Weber on October 9, 2020 at 8:04 pm

Orly "Bonder" is a good basecoat, although I can compare it to CnD Sticky because I’m awaiting the arrival of my first bottle!

  8. Daisy Castellanos on October 9, 2020 at 8:05 pm

I went to Sally’s and they do not carry the CND Base coat,  I also went to a local beauty supply and they do not carry it either. I am afraid of buying it online for fear of it being diluted. Where else can I find it??

  9. Kate Luo on October 9, 2020 at 8:06 pm

  12. halle spooner on October 9, 2020 at 8:09 pm

@lovestruckengel It’s seche vite but I have not used it, but people say it dries completely in about 1 minute or 2

  13. Brooke on October 9, 2020 at 8:10 pm

I’ve tried many top coats and they all smear my polish when I use them

  14. Cynthia McWhorter on October 9, 2020 at 8:10 pm

Where did you find the larger bottle of Seche Vite? It is really a great product.

  15. JennyLuvs Manaia on October 9, 2020 at 8:12 pm

awesome video…im a beginner at all of this because i usually go to the nail shop….i still get bubbles in my nails and sometimes once the polish is dried it looks as if some areas have a thinner coat….so by watching this i think i may need a better top coat?? any suggestions….

  16. Michelle on October 9, 2020 at 8:15 pm

i saw it at sally beauty supplies 🙂

    @karensdaisys Thanks for watching!

  18. Sophie on October 9, 2020 at 8:16 pm

I agree, love the blue one and also the pink base coat from the same company however its impotant to note that the blue top coat does not work well over nail art such as paints and foils. ibd works amazing over art and polishes. Nice video, thanks!!

  19. Sabrina Harris on October 9, 2020 at 8:16 pm

Another way you can restore nail polish is with nail polish remover. Drop approximately 5 drops and shake it. If it is still thick do do it over. Luv ur videos

i have sally hanson nail hardener and i also own pure ice in the color strapless its kinda just like a clear polish with blue sparkles an ive used the hardener on it once and on other polishes but the polish will come off the next day or come off in the shower my grandmas friend does her nails and she said nail hardener would help my polish stay past a week or 2 should i invest in just regular base coat or am i doing something wrong with the hardener

  24. crazyovernails on October 9, 2020 at 8:28 pm

you should do a video on how to grow your nails long

  25. halle spooner on October 9, 2020 at 8:28 pm

  40. bchbounds on October 9, 2020 at 8:48 pm

do you get that blue base coat at sally’s as well? also, i had discovered a top coat at sally’s yrs ago that i’ve been using called "out the door’.very quick drying + very glossy..have you tried it? i keep seeing the "seche vite" on here, but haven’t used myself. just wondering if the seche vite was better? (even tho the out the door seems great) i tnk what i like most about mine is how quickly it dries. i like to also use it to "touch up" my polish after a few days. it shines it back up nicely

  41. Yarelys P on October 9, 2020 at 8:48 pm

When I bought Siche Vite for the first time I was super excited because of all the good comments are this product, however I read the box and it said that it may cause birth defects, and it freak out and returned it.

  42. MPATRICK310 on October 9, 2020 at 8:49 pm

I swear by CND Stickey Base Coat. It’s the best. Returned 2 bottle of Nail Life Gripper to Sally’s. It’s doesn’t work at all. Such a waste.

  43. aenaithia on October 9, 2020 at 8:50 pm

You can do that, but it isn’t good for the polish in the long run. It’ll cause it to get clumpy and separate. The thinner is a different chemical and will increase the longevity of your polishes safely.

  44. borntoshop404 on October 9, 2020 at 8:50 pm

Old school Mary! Was trying to remember your base coat you used.

  45. cav mommy on October 9, 2020 at 8:50 pm

Does the sesche vita (doubt i spelled correctly lol) help w drying ur color as well? How long does it dry if it does. Is that the fastest way to dry nails. I wld love to change my nails often but i hate smuging!

I had the embarrassing and unfortunate habit of picking at my nails for 40+ years and I’ve finally broken that habit – so I am completely illiterate about nail care. Can you just break down the steps for someone not needing to have perfect nails?  Would it just be base-color-top? Thanks very much – also thanks for including the product list.
