I wonder if you grated bar soap, melted the shavings and poured it into the Sigmagic scrub, to refill it? You could try that with Savon de marseille soap that many beauty guru’s recommend to wash brushes with. Thanks for the video.

  2. Amanda G on September 29, 2020 at 6:54 pm

I use a combination of Artis brushes (a splurge I know but so, so worth it), MAC brushes, Sephora Pro brushes, and Beauty Blenders. The shapes and quality of all of those just work for me. I don’t do eyeshadow though, really, so these are all for face. Great video! 👍🏾

  3. Denise Vasquez Lemrick on September 29, 2020 at 6:55 pm

Oh girl YOU MUST check out the Milani face brushes….. IMO they beat sigma by a Longshot….up there with IT cosmetics and BK beauty… favorite is the powder/bronzer, the Kabuki fan brush and the BLUSH BRUSH!!! PERFECTION for SMALL faces much like the Goss brush you showed for blush……the softness and perfect density of these brushes are unbelievable! I’ve washed them numerous times and they dry exactly like when you took them out of the package….Lawd!!!! So so good and reasonably priced …

  4. Forever Young on September 29, 2020 at 6:56 pm

I’ve got a small face around 5"*7.5" , like a child. Which brand of foundation brush suits me well ? ♥️

  5. Kurilo Anastsia on September 29, 2020 at 6:57 pm

if i am looking for one brush for my hourglass finishing powder and maybe powder foundation, would you recomend Sonia G Face One or Master Face? i want them all but it’s too expensive

  6. Jamie Driskell on September 29, 2020 at 6:57 pm

If you were only able to buy three brush sets which brush brand would you get? And which of the 3 sets would make up your full brush set and which brushes from what brand? I hope that second question made since , I’m getting me a new set of brushes because I know the tools make all the difference, and I want the best of the best so I want your opinion on which ones you think that would be . Thanks you so much for your help, ( in advance lol )

  7. Laya Cohen on September 29, 2020 at 6:59 pm

Very informative, thanks! I love the BK beauty brushes and marble bh cosmetics brushes

  8. Elizabeth Cassidy on September 29, 2020 at 7:00 pm

Very comprehensive:) Now that we are spending a lot of time wearing face masks I would like to highlight my eyes more and begin wearing eye make-up. I am novice. I just ordered my very first eyeshadow palette and I am in my 40s! Your eyeshadow brush tutorial was a little overwhelming for me. I don’t know where to begin. Are there 2 or 3 essential eyeshadow brushes I should start with? Your help is appreciated. Do you also have a eyeshadow tutorial for beginners?

  9. Sophia on September 29, 2020 at 7:01 pm

Thank you for such a great brush video. I’m looking into BK Brushes, they sound amazing!!

  10. Karen Brogan on September 29, 2020 at 7:02 pm

Woah! Hot momma! You look extra beautiful today. I am loving these colors on you. 💜💜

  11. Callie Bahls on September 29, 2020 at 7:04 pm

    Try the new profusion brushes

  12. Joe Rule on September 29, 2020 at 7:04 pm

  13. Lisa Marie Stoner on September 29, 2020 at 7:04 pm

Do you use the Mac 263 for tightlining?

  14. tanhome7 on September 29, 2020 at 7:05 pm

10:46 Note: you said Sigma but you meant to say Sephora Pro for the concealer brush
The Rephr brushes are top notch and natural hair
The BK Beauty brushes are next on my list to try. They look amazing!!!
The Omnia Gold line by Royal & Langnickel are stand outs as well and not expensive
I haven’t tried a Wayne Goss brush that I didn’t like yet whether it be face or eye brush but I’m partial to his eye brushes personally
    Sonia G is just superb
Sephora Pro are fabulous brushes but they are a bit pricey. I stoked up when they were redoing the line around the holidays and got some favorites then.
Juno & Co has really impressed me recently with their brushes and they have a dupe for the angled 125 Fenty brush you showed. (16:22) They also have the same dusty rose aesthetic as Fenty. I can’t put those brushes down!
Real Techniques & Eco Tools are some of the very best at the drugstore that hold up and are soft. They wash well too
Very informative and helpful video Stephanie and thank you for this video 💜

  15. Rochelle Murrell on September 29, 2020 at 7:07 pm

Thanks for the video. Great that you gave higher end and affordable options. That ELF concealer brush is great and CHEAP! I also use it to clean up polish around my cuticles. It’s very versatile.

  16. Linda Liffers on September 29, 2020 at 7:07 pm

I have the entire BK beauty brush line and most of the Sigma (and way too many others!) My favorite brush is the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Lux Ball Wand brush for powder, perfection!

  17. A Star is Born on September 29, 2020 at 7:09 pm

Sonia Kashuk at Target brushes are great and terribly underated. They are the best drug store brushes in my opinion.

  18. Michelle Lee on September 29, 2020 at 7:13 pm

I’ve been loving BHCosmetics brushes lately. I like the size of their eyeshadow brushes better than my Sigma brushes, especially for blending

  19. Kathleen Pacholski on September 29, 2020 at 7:13 pm

I have hooded eyes. Which brushes are appropriate for my use?

  20. blueyes Nz on September 29, 2020 at 7:15 pm

    Hey beauty 💕

  21. Maureen Green on September 29, 2020 at 7:18 pm

I’ve become a fan Stephanie. You have the most calm, relaxing and beautiful voice. And I like the content too. 🙂

  22. Lacy Dreger on September 29, 2020 at 7:20 pm

Just wondering what your thoughts are on other Sephora brushes? I know you mentioned some in your video. They have a set that seems affordable that gives you almost everything you need. Is it worth it? Or just better to buy only a few of the higher end brushes?

  23. HisSongGirl: MONI on September 29, 2020 at 7:21 pm

I ordered the shop miss A pink eyeshadows on a whim. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? They’re GOOD! And that’s bc I own sigma brushes. I have suggested to friends to buy those if they’re starting they’re brush collection. That’s way you have good brushes to practice with. And they don’t shes.

I’m wanna get they’re mink face brush set now!

  24. Kelz Belz on September 29, 2020 at 7:21 pm

I love my Zoeva eye brushes and my Real Techniques face brushes.

  25. Betsy/BA BF on September 29, 2020 at 7:21 pm

I want the BK Beauty set.

  26. Creole Modish on September 29, 2020 at 7:22 pm

Sonia G. brushes take forever to be restocked 😫

  27. Rika Kristinawati on September 29, 2020 at 7:23 pm

    I do late😥

  28. Sandra on September 29, 2020 at 7:24 pm

I recently started using the BK Beauty brushes, and they are FANTASTIC!!! My makeup (when I actually bother to put some on these days) goes on so light and flawless. I swear these brushes have taken 10 years off my face!!

  29. Reilly Family on September 29, 2020 at 7:25 pm

Hi Stephanie – Wonderful video. You did a great job. Could you please advise a brush that will fit in the jar, yet works perfectly to put on the Cle De Peau blush? I hate putting my fingers in the jar, yet I can’t find a brush to fit in the jar. Also, how do you store the double ending brushes? I use a cup and don’t want the brushes damaged. Thank you!

  30. Amanda Thurman on September 29, 2020 at 7:28 pm

Wonderful video! Just what I needed. You mention in your videos you use a sponge for foundation and concealer, do you have a favorite sponge?

  31. Minouk van der Velde on September 29, 2020 at 7:28 pm

Aaaaaand “thumbs up” is pressed before I even begin. Thank you for all you do Stephanie. I always enjoy your work. Xxx

  32. Stephanie Glancy on September 29, 2020 at 7:29 pm

I am using the BHcosmetics deluxe marble set OMG I love it when I purchased it it was 31.00 comes with a bunch of brushes and my favorite is the gorgeous giant powder brush. If you are on a budget I recommend this brand highly

  33. Christina Poulsen on September 29, 2020 at 7:30 pm

I so much want to try the Sonia G pencil brush, but can’t find the brand in Europe 😥

  34. Shelley McCann on September 29, 2020 at 7:30 pm

Could you tell us where we can find the double ended BK brush you suggested for powder? Thanks!

  35. Gini Risinger on September 29, 2020 at 7:30 pm

Besides the Sigma brushes (I have your set), I love Blinged Brushes. They are from a woman owned company. And I like Moda Pro and Omnia brushes for lower end brushes as well as Juno & Co

  36. Louise Vorsaa Christianen on September 29, 2020 at 7:32 pm

The black E.l.f series of brushes work wonders on a budget, but I’ve fallen completely in love with All zoeva, the brushes are great, and the makeup is great too😍 I love real techniques some of the limited are faves of mine.
Love your videos, and the way you describe application and use❤️❤️ love from Denmark xx Louise

Loved the content and learnt a lot.

  38. Diana Laura on September 29, 2020 at 7:34 pm

Quality brushes are so important. I only have elf brushes and my finger applies eyeshadow better than them. My eyeshadow pallet is so pigmented so I always wondered why my eyes weren’t after applying makeup.

  39. Genevieve Doyon on September 29, 2020 at 7:35 pm

I have such a mix of brushes from Sigma to Elf to Real Techniques to Sephora to Ecco Tools. I’m really tempted by the BK beauty ones now 😫🙈 Thank you for this video Stephanie! 😊❤️

  40. Jennifer Cook on September 29, 2020 at 7:36 pm

Have you tried the Artis brushes? Can you do a video on them??? I got a couple and I am loving them so far… especially for foundation and concealer.

  41. Renée Soli on September 29, 2020 at 7:37 pm

I have saved this video so I can purchase a little at a time. Just purchased one of Wayne Goss blush brush that you recommended. I see in the reviews that the brush is made of blue squirrel and should only go on skin that has been set, because the oils from our face will start to break the squirrel hairs causing shedding.
Do you know if this is true?

  42. Deepika Aggarwal on September 29, 2020 at 7:41 pm

  49. Tonya Petrakova on September 29, 2020 at 7:49 pm

Hi Stephanie. Thank you so much for yet another super informative fantastic video! Your choice of brushes is spot-on! I bought Sonia G Face One and BK beauty blush brush on your recommendation and they are fantastic! I’d love to share my holy grail brushes with you. For foundation, I looooove Kevin Aucoin foundation brush (it is unbelievably good!) and for eye makeup, I swear by Hakuhodo s146 (OMG!), g5522, j242 and Chikuhodo t8. Try them! I think you’d like them too!
