I’m going to be 34 in November and I noticed brown spots on my temples! I’m DEVASTATED! I worked at a tanning salon in high school and I tanned everyday and sometimes my best friend added extra time so I tanned longer than 20 minutes.
In the early 2000s orange tan with the playboy bunny stickers were all the rage. Don’t judge me!

  12. Celine Choi on October 13, 2020 at 8:20 pm

Thanks Stephanie for this video! So glad I found this before I dropped more money on primers, concealers, foundations etc. I’m 33 and been wanting to get better at my own makeup.. my concealer (not even foundation!) is always cakey and peels off after an hour or so… I think I need to change my moisturiser to something a LOT more hydrating. Going to go binge your other vids now 🙂 Thank you!

Unfortunately the hair myth is only true for those of us who hereditarily have the issue. I have dark coarse hairs everywhere from shaving…My mother had same issue I just didn’t know until she got sick & couldn’t maintain herself anymore.

  15. Amanda M. on October 13, 2020 at 8:21 pm

My favorite foundation is bare minerals. Its lightweight, great coverage and doesn’t settle into fine lines.

I love this! I’m getting married in December (hopefully 🤞) and I’m doing my own make up. I have combination skin with large pores and some acne scars. I’m kind of dreading doing my make up, as no matter what I do, I can’t seem to disguise the scars… any tips?

Love your video’s and I hope that you and your family are well during these crazy times x

  35. MsMagnetic on October 13, 2020 at 8:53 pm

Such a great video! Highly recommended! I now understand how to minimize enlarged pores using a brush with my foundation. I also noticed a facecloth works best for exfoliation. I like that I do not need anymore primer. And how to moisturize my dry skin. Thank you Stephanie! 🙂

I appreciate you showing the up close shots of your skin. I have been feeling like my skin looks ok from afar but up close you can see fine lines and pores which is making me feel like my makeup isn’t doing its job. But seeing that your skin isn’t perfect up close helps me to feel more confident that everything is looking good from what other people are seeing. So thank you for showing reality!

  41. Leanne Richards on October 13, 2020 at 8:58 pm

1:33, my skin is brat, I’m 14 and I’m just watching this because it’s one of her videos and I would like additional help on how to use makeup, but I’m totally saying that when my mom pulls another “ your skin is beautiful “ talk. I love you Stephanie, you have truly helped me to understand a little more on how to use makeup in your other videos. Thank you!!! 🥰

Great video, I was always oily in my 20s and early 30s.. now I’m patchy and have this issue sometimes. Made me feel a lot better, I need to moisturizer more. I’m 39 and hate getting older. Thanks for making it better 😄

I had exactly the same problems as you with my skin (large pores, not smooth texture and rosacea) and I have tried sooo many different cosmetics but only two products have change my skin completely. It’s the red peeling and niacimide from The Ordinary. Yes, I know that this peeling is not recommended for sensitive skins but if you apply it for just a few minutes at first times, your skin will get used to it. Girl, my skin hasn’t been so smooth like now in my entire life! My pores are almost not visible and it reduces the redness. I have stopped to use this peeling during summer and my skin again went worse but not as much as before using niacimide. Now I have started the peeling again and it’s working immediately! I know how hard it is to find the perfect solution for this type of skin so please if anyone of you have the same problem, try this solution. Of course it might not work for you as good as for me but it’s definitely worthy to try.
