  8. Danny Li on November 21, 2020 at 9:17 pm

one small thing needed to be point out, during the tension test, the lady was using one hand the traditional straight iron, but when it came to dyson, two hands were used for the test. That factor may changes the result. Two major down sides – giant charger leads to low compatibility and high weight leads to tiring arms. In terms compatibility, it is still a no no. Remember what you are bring to your trip, is not only that iron, you are still bring a computer size charger which is another pound or two. Plus, because of the cordless feature, the iron itself is already so much heavier than traditional iron. Lets say a girl is a pro to her own hair and she needs 10 mins to do the hair. Well if she is not a pro-gym-goer, 10 mins with the iron basically it is an arm workout which will slender your arms.

James, why only 2 yrs warranty on yr cordless cleaners? and 5yrs on yr upright? I guessing it wont come as a surprise that my v7 wont charge properly now after 30 odd months. These machines are great but you charge top pounds and so I would have expects a proper warranty (which matched yr upright cleaners at least).

I’m motivated to work real hard and be able to afford the vaccum cleaner, fans, blower, AND AIR WRAP. I have to get to that point in life. I really have to. Dyson is on my top list of things to achieve for working hard.

My first thought when NYC was worried about having enough respirators was "Call James Dyson!" If anyone can solve this problem, its him! And sure enough, next day on the news, James Dyson is announcing that he is working on it and will have solutions within WEEKS not months like all the competition a$$ draggers. KUDOS TO MR. DYSON! Making the world a better place! You are MY HERO!

  20. Harden Thicke on November 21, 2020 at 9:24 pm

Just saying…no reasonable thinking person is gonna pay $500 for any styling tool.
    Vacuums on the other hand…maybe.

  21. Cre8tive Cre8tion on November 21, 2020 at 9:24 pm

Found an error. If the special plate is flexible in 1 axes, but not in the other… when its mounted it can only be done on the ends of the plate. That means when you pull it on hair, the only pressure registration you can get would be on the ends of the plate… the video / pressure that it shows will of course be even… its 1 piece of metal its pulling on with sensors only on the ends.

I was so excited when I found out about the Dyson straightener. I own the air wrap styler and absolutely love it! I wanted to know more so here I am but was disappointed in the end of the Video where Jen didn’t show much of a WOW with the hair on the models. I was ready to purchase but had a change of heart.

You are so lovely, OMG how cute you are☺️☺️☺️☺️

  24. Consig1iere on November 21, 2020 at 9:27 pm

Dyson solves problems that are really not problems. From hair straighteners to his silly fans, they don’t solve any problems, however very stylish and original design wise. Not paying 5 times more though just for that. A Dyson V11 Torque Drive costs $600, that is just silly.

  25. DEarlMusic on November 21, 2020 at 9:29 pm

For a person who has a net worth of $6.2 billion USD in 2020, his presentation, his attire, you can see that after all these years he still loves what he does – invention 🙂

When will get a dyson car, dyson gaming console, dyson gaming PC? Can you do something that will solve most or all of the critical problems with them. The overheating or performance loss, and even the dreaded bottling necking people fear. I bet you guys would do great in the market. Also please make another washing machine

  27. Alex Stark on November 21, 2020 at 9:34 pm

I like how he said demonstration.

  28. Owen O'Neill on November 21, 2020 at 9:34 pm

If any Dyson employees are checking comments please check your emails on your /support because I have sent you a few regarding my Dyson giving up working and need one of your tech people to have a look. Problem with it not charging. Would appreciate a response. No one seems to be manning the phones either. I rang two rival companies support numbers to check their availability for customer care and both answered. Come on Sir Jimmy don’t let me down having invested in one of your machines.
P.S. Working an old corded vac at the moment that I bought 4years ago for €110. I had to apologize to it when taking out of the cupboard after a years confinement.

  34. Patricia Younger-Cocca on November 21, 2020 at 9:39 pm

I just had to return my Dyson Corrale flat iron which I love more than my son. I purchased it 2 months ago and was so happy with it and it was working just fine. Just this morning I noticed that the edges of the plates look like they are melting or delaminating. I thought it was just simply a little bit of buildup from hair products, however, after a few gentle wipes, it wasn’t coming off. Upon careful inspection with a magnifying glass, I could see it was plastic that was peeling off!! I have only used it less than a dozen times. I’m disappointed that I paid a lot of money for the BEST product on the market and ending up returning it due to a defect! Hoping the replacement doesn’t do the same or worse. Maybe it needs to go back to the drawing board.

BBC UK today: each toilet flush raises a bacterial/viral cloud of droplets that the flusher inhales. It’s not glamorous, but there are more toilets on the planet than hair dryers. @Dyson: please invent an hydraulic downdraft toilet bowl and clean up once again worldwide. 48. Rudra on November 21, 2020 at 10:04 pm

Dyson has such great engineers, why waste it on some crap products.. I mean hair straighteners and hair dryers? Imagine if they worked on a new smart watch, medical equipment like diabetes monitor or blood checker, or smart home tech. They could revolutionise alot of useful stuff
